The Blacksburg Classic 10 Miler and 5K have been moved one week due to the weather. The race will take place on February 19th. Running and walking are so good for your heart! Join us for the first race of the 2023 Race Series. It is the 38th year of the Blacksburg Classic 10 Miler and 5K! The 10 miler and 5K races begin at one pm at Margaret Beeks Elementary School in Blacksburg. A free one-mile fun run will also take place at 12:30 pm…fun for the whole family!
All 10 Milers receive a finisher medal. Long sleeve shirts to 5K and 10 Milers.

2/19 - Packet Pick-Up @ Race 11:00am - 12:50pm (Margaret Beeks Elementary School)
Free 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Adjust NRV, Start - 12:30pm (finisher medal for kids)
10 Mile & 5k Start - 1:00pm
Awards can be picked up at the awards table near the finish.

1 Mile Fun Run presented by Adjust NRV - free - sign a waiver and pick up the bib number. If you want a long sleeve shirt they are $15.00. 5K: $27.00 before 2/02. $30.00 2/02 to 2/18. $35 on race day10 Miler: $38.00 before 2/02. $45.00 2/02 to 2/18. $50.00 on race day Awards:10 mile and 5K: Overall: Top 3 male and female finishers will receive an award.The first male and female masters (40+) and grandmasters (50+) will receive an award. Age-group: Awards three deep, male and female, in the following categories:8 & under (5K only), 9–12 (5K only), 13–17 (5K only)17 & under (10-mile only); 18–23, 24–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69,70+All 10-Mile Finishers will receive a finishers medal!
Runners are eligible for one award, which will be determined in the following order of priority: overall, masters, grandmasters, age group. Awards will not be mailed.
Parking: There is parking at Margaret Beeks Elementary, also across the street along the road and parking lot at VT Electric Services, along Country Club Road, Kroger parking lot, and First and Main Shopping Center.
Post-Race: Plenty of post-race food and drinks will be available.
Aid Stations - The 5K has one and the 10 Miler has five. Mile five and nine rest station have GU and Gatorade.
Results: Preliminary results will be posted at www.runaboutsports.com after the race followed by the final results and age group results. Live results on www.RunRoanoke.com
Restrooms: Available at race headquarters in Margaret Beeks Elementary School. Two porta-potties are on the 10-mile course near 5 miles and 9 miles.
